Product Use

Kennard Cutlery knives are handcrafted, high-performance cutting tools intended for food preparation and general culinary use only. They are extremely sharp and must be handled with care.

By purchasing and using our products, you acknowledge that improper use may result in serious injury.

Safe Use

The user is responsible for using the knife safely and appropriately, including:

- Keeping the knife out of reach of children.
- Using a suitable cutting board.
- Cutting away from the body whenever practical.
- Maintaining a secure grip during use.
- Never using the knife as a pry bar, screwdriver, chisel, or for any purpose other than cutting food.

Care & Maintenance

Proper care is essential for both performance and safety. Users should follow the care instructions provided with the knife, including cleaning, drying, storage, sharpening, and corrosion prevention.

Failure to properly maintain the knife may affect its performance and longevity.

Natural Materials

Many Kennard Cutlery knives feature natural handle materials such as wood. Variations in grain, colour, texture, and figure are natural characteristics and are not defects. Natural materials may also change slightly over time with use and exposure to environmental conditions.

Handmade Products

Each knife is individually handcrafted. Minor variations in finish, dimensions, weight, grind, or appearance are normal and reflect the handmade nature of the product.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Kennard Cutlery shall not be liable for injuries, damage, or loss resulting from misuse, abuse, improper maintenance, modification, neglect, or use of the product for purposes other than its intended culinary use.

Nothing in this disclaimer excludes or limits any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws.

Inspection

Customers should inspect their knife upon receipt. If any manufacturing defect is suspected, discontinue use immediately and contact Kennard Cutlery before further use.
